Services

Our main activity is to provide Pilotage Services Bay of Panama.

Pilotage consists of the advisory service to the captains of ships and floating devices, to facilitate their entry and exit to the port and to the nautical maneuvers within the port and in the geographical limits of the pilotage area, in safety conditions and in the terms established by the Law.

The piloting maneuvers performed by Orion Pilots are the following:

Dock
undocking
Ship to Ship
Shifting operation

The Pilot performs these activities on board the vessels, and is authorized to advise the captain of the vessel on navigation, maneuvers and regulations, in the areas declared as mandatory pilots in the Bay of Panama.
