The main purpose of Orion Pilots, inc. is to supply professional Maritime Pilots to ships visiting the Bay of Panama STS operation. An approipriate company infrastrucure is the prerequisite for efficient supply of these pilots. The management of Orion Pilots, Inc. is located within its moderm offices located in La Boca, Balboa. History
Orion Pilots, Inc. was founded in 2008 for the purpose of providing a reliable and secure pilot services. The company is formed by local marine senior pilots (Unlimited), as well as recognized maritime business people.
We strive in rendering a quality service beyond our customers´ expectations, making their needs our commitment in a safe and reliable way. We are available around the clock all year round.
Future Ahead
The development and training of new pilots is critical to Orion Pilots, Inc. The expertise required to fulfill our part is becoming increasingly rare. A Pilot must have a unique mixture of skills and knowledge, both of which require time and practice to acquire; without forgetting the remaining ever so important human factors (communications, cooperations, understanding and management of the interactions of all those involved).
